David also represents clients in complex international commercial arbitration proceedings arising from international business transactions. He has represented clients in arbitrations under the rules of institutions such as the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association (JCAA), Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), American Arbitration Association-International Centre for Dispute Resolution (AAA-ICDR), and Centre for Arbitration and Mediation of the Chamber of Commerce Brazil-Canada (CAM-CCBC). Before moving back to Japan, David practiced in New York focusing on US patent litigation.

Andrew Fields is an associate with extensive litigation experience. Andrew recently completed a secondment to a major Japanese trading company in Tokyo, Japan. On its behalf he advised the client on the development of the largest energy from waste project in the Middle East; managed the development of multiple major energy projects in Southeast Asia; and participated in an international arbitration regarding a disputed tariff, a U.S. federal court litigation regarding a business dispute, and a U.S. state court litigation regarding a wrongful death claim.
