Include “Same Brain”

Same Brain means that the QC process begins at the very beginning of training for reviewers. A “round robin” approach is used to ensure that each document is being reviewed, or coded, in the same way, or that reviewers are operating with the “Same Brain.” This may increase the total number of documents being review, but the overall pace will increase and the total time for QC will decrease.

Please note that we recommend Same Brain synchronization for projects with 100,000 documents or more.

Select Quality Control Method

Please select your preferred QC Method: Static QC percentage OR Spot QC by Interval (interval-based sampling).

  • Static QC Percentage refers to the percentage of the total number of documents that the client would like to QC.
  • Spot QC by Interval means that QC will happen at defined progress-based intervals over the span of the entire project timeline.

Email Threading Enabled?

Email threading means that all emails from a data set can be grouped by a single thread or conversation letting the reviewer read through an entire thread, allowing for a deeper understanding of the topics at hand while not having to review duplicate documents, increasing efficiency.

Last In Time Only Review? (LIT)

Last In Time Only Review means that only the most inclusive part of the email thread is reviewed.

TAR/Predictive Coding

Technology Assisted Review (TAR) refers to multiple forms of document review technology that is designed to enable reviewers to work more efficiently when compared to standard linear review. These technologies include: deduplication, visual analytics and predictive coding. FRONTEO can help determine how to maximize TAR to efficiently and defensibly conduct eDiscovery according the needs of a specific matter.

Predictive Coding is the use of keyword search, filtering and sampling to automate portions of document review. This reduces the number of extraneous documents that need to be reviewed manually.

Please note that we recommend TAR/Predictive Coding for projects with 100,000 documents or more
