Effective July 1, 2016, we changed our company name from UBIC Corporation to FRONTEO Corporation.
Immediately after its establishment, the Company, as "UBIC Corporation," has focused on the e-discovery business. In the fiscal year ended March 31, 2016, in addition to the acquisition of its second company in the United States, the main market for its e-discovery business, the Company (1) will leverage its proprietary technology developed through litigation support to develop business in growth In addition to the acquisition of a second company in the U.S., the core market for our e-discovery business, we also made major changes in our business, including (1) commercialization of business in growth areas by leveraging our proprietary technology developed through litigation support and (2) development of Kibiro, a humanoid robot equipped with the artificial intelligence engine KIBIT.
The change of trade name clearly indicates our intention to be a value-added company that creates "the future of people and society," and we will work together as a group to enhance our brand value and promote innovation on a global basis.
