[Online Seminar held on July 7] New threats in the digital transformation era and their risk management
[Online seminar co-hosted by Electromagnetic Shielding Research Institute, Inc., World Trade Center Tokyo, and FRONTEO, Inc.]
In recent years, security measures against cyber attacks have progressed rapidly, but at the same time, there is a large disparity between Japan and overseas in terms of preparations for "physical threats" such as EMP (electromagnetic pulse) attacks, solar flares, and TEMPEST (electromagnetic eavesdropping). These threats can cause serious damage such as information leaks and infrastructure shutdowns, and are said to be new risks that push the limits of digital forensics.
This seminar will provide an overview of the current state of electromagnetic wave risks in today's digital transformation world, as well as the institutional and technological challenges facing Japan, and will also explain the specific impact and conservation strategies for critical infrastructure sectors such as communications, healthcare, finance, and energy.
Additionally, from the perspective of legal and compliance departments, we will explain what preparations companies need to make, and the direction of legal and organizational measures, including comparisons with the U.S. legal system and technical standards.
