[Hybrid Seminar held on June 6th] Discovery-based paper search AI explores the potential of cancer immunotherapy and exosomes as a biomarker

In this seminar, Hagiwara, a former basic researcher and specialist in the system, will provide an overview and usage method of the "KIBIT Amanogawa," a discovery-based concept search AI system for hypothesis generation that instantly extracts paper information, genes, and diseases that are highly relevant to input words and sentences from a vast amount of paper information.

This time, we will use paper search AI on the theme of "exosomes."
Exosomes are a type of extracellular vesicle with a diameter of 50 to 150 nm. Their surface contains lipids and proteins derived from the cell membrane, and their interior contains intracellular substances such as nucleic acids (microRNA, messenger RNA, DNA, etc.) and proteins.
In recent years, exosomes have attracted attention as carriers of intercellular communication, and are being actively studied in a wide range of fields, including cancer, neurological diseases, and immune responses.
Exosomes in bodily fluids are also expected to be useful in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, and clinical trials targeting exosomes as drug discovery targets are being conducted around the world.

This time, we will introduce effective ways to use "KIBIT Amanogawa" to obtain research hints through a demonstration of the use of exosomes as a biomarker for prognosis prediction and treatment efficacy assessment in cancer immunotherapy, as well as the possibility of applying them to treatment strategies.
