[Online Seminar held on October 10th] Virtual Experiments using AI: Searching for new targets for anticancer drug resistance

● "AI-based Virtual Experiments: Searching for new targets for anticancer drug resistance"
Gene knockout and other experimental evaluation methods are used to evaluate the functions of candidate molecules as drug discovery targets. However, the challenge is that evaluation in disease models and experimental evaluation of many genes are not easy to carry out. To solve this problem, we have developed a unique analysis method called "Virtual Experiments" that virtually deletes the target gene from a disease network created by our unique natural language processing AI engine and reconstructs a new disease network to predict the disease state after gene knockout. In this seminar, we will introduce a solution that utilizes Virtual Experiments using the issue of anticancer drug resistance as an example.

● “AI drug discovery research support solution specialized for hypothesis generation”
It is currently extremely difficult for drug discovery researchers to discover target molecules with unreported association with disease. At the FRONTEO Drug Discovery AI Factory, biologists who have extensive drug discovery experience cultivated at major pharmaceutical companies and international research institutes and a deep understanding of AI utilize in-house developed natural language processing AI and use their own analysis methods.By using this, it has become possible to propose multiple highly novel target genes and their hypotheses in a short period of time.
We will introduce support for significantly improving the efficiency, acceleration, and success rate of drug discovery research through the fusion of AI and biologists.
