In this lecture, Morimoto introduced the history of the birth of AI, the various types from machine learning to the latest generative AI, and their characteristics, using specific examples. Morimoto explained his thoughts on whether AI is truly an all-purpose technology that surpasses humans, along with his company's efforts, and the students listened with great interest, occasionally nodding deeply.
During the Q&A session, students asked questions such as ``Will AI be able to understand the human mind?'' ``What are the fields in which AI can intervene?'' ``How do you differentiate your company's AI from that of other companies?'' A wide variety of questions were asked regarding the future possibilities of AI and business.Morimoto answered while facing each student individually.
Even after the lecture, the students continued to ask additional questions, demonstrating their high level of interest and proactiveness in AI projects.

Prior to the lecture, outside director Taeko Nagayama spoke to the students about the history and social contributions of FRONTEO, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year. The message was that it would be helpful when thinking about whether you want to be active.Going forward, students will engage in group work to consider topics such as ``Is there a singularity due to advances in AI?'' and ``Will general-purpose AI become a reality?'' and will make a final presentation in January next year.
Through this course, FRONTEO will continue to provide support so that students who will lead the future will be able to properly understand AI, which is expected to evolve further, and will help them to play an active role on the front lines of a digital society. I'm coming.
