Working at the Fair Trade Commission, I conducted nearly 20 on-site inspections, reviewed cases at the Intellectual Property/IT Task Force, prepared for the enforcement of the leniency system, and adjudicated cases of violations of the Act on Unjustifiable Representations, which were under the jurisdiction of the Fair Trade Commission at the time. He is in charge of various tasks and has cutting-edge knowledge of practical matters. He has experience in many difficult cases related to the Antimonopoly Act, the Premiums and Representations Act, the Subcontract Act, and the Bribery Control Act, etc., and serves as the only Japanese member (officer) of the Antimonopoly Act Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA). He has been selected as one of Japan's leading antitrust lawyers in international lawyer evaluations such as Who's Who Legal. Additionally, in 2022, we were ranked 2nd overall and 3rd in corporate votes in the Nihon Keizai Shimbun's Lawyer Ranking (antitrust/competition law field).
