FRONTEO Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Masahiro Morimoto, hereinafter referred to as FRONTEO) held the fifth private conference "FRONTEO AI Innovation Forum" on July 2023, 7. Under the theme of "Artifacts created by AI play an important role in society's supply chain," instructors with diverse backgrounds and specialized knowledge introduced the research results and practical applications of AI, which is indispensable for social implementation.

　At this conference, a total of 4 lectures were given in the four areas of legal tech AI, business intelligence, life science AI, and economic security, and more than 13 people, mainly from companies, medical institutions, government agencies, etc. participated in the venue and online.By area, the largest number of participants gathered for lectures in the life science AI field, including the AI ​​drug discovery support business that we will focus on in the future.Among them, "Data-Driven Drug Discovery Efforts at Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma" and "Chugai Pharmaceutical's AI Drug Discovery and the Possibilities of Target Search Using Natural Language AI" were the two lectures with the most pre-registrations, demonstrating the high level of interest in this area.

　In a post-event survey, 95% of respondents said they were "satisfied" with the conference.In addition, 84.1% of the respondents answered that they would "recommend this conference to friends and work colleagues" (35.9% "strongly agree", 48.2% "somewhat agree"), indicating that it was an opportunity to provide useful information on AI with expert support and its social implementation.

　In the opening talk, Masahiro Morimoto, President and CEO of FRONTEO, announced that he aims to play an important role in society's supply chain through the "FRONTEO AI Factory", a factory that generates the output necessary for experts, and the conference started.

　Mr. Mitsunobu Koshiba of Cdots G.K. took the stage for the opening keynote, and talked about the world's technological innovations and historical and economic backgrounds with rules, as well as modern technological innovations that go far beyond those rules.In addition, he discussed the key points of how to utilize technological intelligence represented by AI in order for companies to overcome the discontinuous transformation that will continue to progress in the future and the world that will become more complex as a result.
