Online lectures for New York University Graduate School of Business students
On April 2020, 4, an online lecture on the utilization of AI technology was held for students of Leonard N. Stern School, a graduate school of business administration at New York University, with director Hideki Takeda and Life Sciences. Business CTO Hiroyoshi Toyoshiba gave a lecture.
This online lecture was prepared by Professor Joseph Faudi of the Graduate School of Business and our employees to create opportunities for students to learn about practical knowledge of AI utilization.Initially, we planned to invite students to the Tokyo office to hold the event, but due to the recent circumstances related to the new coronavirus, the event was switched to online.
In the lecture on the day, students majoring in business fields such as accounting, economics, management, and marketing at the same graduate school are conducting research on the theme of the possibility of utilizing AI in new industries and overseas. About 35 students participated.
First of all, from Takeda, the history from the founding and the strength of our AI,"KIBIT®"We introduced the features of KIBIT® and various solutions in the legal tech field and business intelligence field using "KIBIT®".
Students asked positive questions such as "What kind of risks can be discovered from e-mail", "Please tell us about your business strategy", and "Is it possible to apply it to money laundering measures?"
From Toyoshibaconcept encoder(Concept encoder®) We introduced the development process, its features, and the products we have announced.
Again, "(About dementia diagnosis support AI) is it aimed at reducing the burden on doctors, or is it for making diagnoses more frequently?" "Is there a difference in the difficulty of analysis by language?" "Others Many questions were asked, such as "Is it applicable to diseases?"
In response to the question, "What are the difficulties in expanding the range of AI utilization?", Both Takeda and Toyoshiba said, "What is important is not only the technical capabilities, but how to use them. Therefore, it is the most difficult point to create the optimum application and data structure for the usage scene, "and I think it left an impression on the students.
Through this lecture, I think that the hopes and possibilities of establishing a new standard for business using AI and utilizing AI for new industries were conveyed to a new generation. It was also a wonderful experience for FRONTEO to be able to take on the social issue of the new coronavirus disease, which is the continuation of learning and communication, together with Professor Joseph Faudi.
